BMW X4M Competition Walkaround Review 2022
The 2022 BMW X4 M is the point in the lineup at which high style and high performance converge, with an eye-catching fastback roofline and up to 503-hp under the hood punching up this SUV's appeal. To match its quick acceleration, BMW fits a sport-tuned suspension with handling sharp enough to allow drivers to shake the X4 M down on a race track and keep up with most sports cars just about anywhere. Cabin environs are upscale and there's plenty of space for most adults to get comfortable, but tall people may find the rear headroom a little tight—after all, that chopped roof comes with some compromises. Other sloped-roof SUVs suffer the same fate, but buyers who need to maximize interior space in the name of style can go for the X3 M (reviewed separately), which is nearly identical save for a boxier body that's better for hauling people and cargo.
