Nissan is giving a makeover to the eighth-generation Sentra for the upcoming 2024 model year. The car manufacturer is enhancing the design across the entire range and making the powertrain more efficient. However, Nissan has yet to reveal the new fuel economy figures.
When the 2024 Sentra hits the market in late summer, it will be available in three grades: S, SV, and SR. Each Sentra variant will feature a fresh front fascia with a redesigned V-motion grille, a sleeker lower bumper design, and updated headlights. The SV grade will come with the new SV Premium Package for 2024, which includes an eight-speaker Bose sound system, integrated side-mirror turn signals, and Nissan's Intelligent Around View Monitor. Additionally, the SV grade will offer a new 16-inch wheel design.
In addition to the new face, the Sentra SR will receive several more updates, highlighted by dark chrome trim accents on the sporty variant. At the rear, Nissan has updated the lower fascia and introduced a new 18-inch wheel design for this grade. Inside the SR, heated front seats will be standard, along with a new red-orange accent stitching color that matches what Nissan offers in the Altima SR and Frontier PRO-X and PRO-4X.
The SR further stands out with red trim badging on the front and rear. It will also be available with two-tone paint options featuring a black roof. The option will be offered with Aspen White Tricoat, Monarch Orange Metallic, Electric Blue Metallic, and the new Atlantic Gray.
Nissan's Safety Shield 360, which includes six driver-assistance systems—automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, rear automatic braking, blind-spot warning, and high-beam assist—will be standard on the 2024 Sentra. Forward collision warning is included as standard, while Nissan's Intelligent Cruise Control will be available.
Beneath the familiar exterior, the Sentra will feature a new Xtronic continuously variable transmission paired with the 2.0-liter inline-four engine. The transmission also includes stop-start functionality. The engine delivers 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque.
Nissan claims that these updates will enhance the Sentra's efficiency, but the official US EPA numbers will be announced later. The 2023 Sentra achieves 29 miles per gallon in the city, 39 mpg on the highway, and a combined 33 mpg. The Sentra SR is slightly less efficient, offering 28 mpg in the city, 37 mpg on the highway, and a combined 32 mpg.
The pricing for the 2024 Sentra has not been disclosed yet and is expected to be revealed alongside the fuel economy figures. The 2023 Nissan S model starts at $21,145, including the $1,095 destination charge. The 2023 Sentra SR has a price tag of $24,035. It is unlikely that the price of the 2024 Sentra will increase significantly.
Sentra sales experienced a steep decline of nearly 40 percent between 2021 and 2022, reaching a low point of 77,124 units sold, marking one of the model's worst sales years in over a decade. Sales for 2023 are not showing much improvement, with a 17 percent decrease in the first quarter compared to the same period last year. It remains to be seen if the updates can help alleviate or reverse the decline in Sentra sales.

Nissan Qashqai Facelift Spied Hiding Its Redesigned Face
The compact SUV is quite young but Nissan is getting ready for a facelift in order to keep it fresh against newer and upcoming rivals. It has been 2.5 years since the debut of the current third generation of the Nissan Qashqai but the automaker is already working on a facelifted version. A prototype of the SUV was spied testing on public roads with its bodywork partly covered in a camouflage wrap.
Visual updates will most likely be focused on the front end, where the controversial headlights of the outgoing model seem to adopt a more conventional look. Other changes include the larger intakes on the sculpted bumper and the revised V-motion grille with the Nissan emblem positioned lower than before.

Nissan has give the Z a power bump for 2024! If you get the new Z NISMO that is. The NISMO treatment includes 20 extra ponies and 34 lb-ft more torque. More important than the power itself are some performance oriented cooling improvements, revised wastegate tuning, an engine oil cooler for better track performance, and of course NISMO brakes for better stopping ability. Nissan says they also went back and strengthened the Z's body for extra rigidity, tossed on some more aggressive tires (Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT600s from the GT-R) and bumped the tire size in the back to 285/35R19.
Nissan also sports up the interior with a red start/stop button and red drive mode control, the LCD instrument cluster gets a unique skin and you get Recaro seats and a new Alcantara wrapped steering wheel. We don't know how much it'll cost but it's likely going to be less than a loaded Supra. The only fly in the ointment? No manual. Zee NISMO (zee what I did zere?) will be equipped only with the 9-speed automatic that's been recalibrated for better performance.

It's been years since Nissan unveiled the fifth-generation Pathfinder in the US for 2022, but the three-row SUV has yet to make its way to China. At the ongoing Shanghai Motor Show, the eponymous concept previews its latest model, but with a twist considering it's not a copy of the North American variant.The family van is said to have been redesigned to Chinese tastes. It is said.
The automaker didn't provide any details about the underpinnings of the new Pathfinder concept, which could ride either the Nissan X-Trail's CMF-CD unibody architecture or the U.S. Pathfinder's older D platform.
This model appears to have a roomier footprint with similar proportions to the Nissan X-Trail, but cleaner finishes and modern styling touches lend to a more premium stance. A large V-Motion grille integrates LEDs in the front. The side windows connect to the rear window, with glossy black accents contrasting with the gold outer screen. Aft, the full-width taillights feature his Pixel LED graphics, and the large tailgate has an illuminated Pathfinder script.
Inside, seven seats are arranged in a three-row layout. The trim combines gold accents and black and white leather upholstery around the cabin. The dashboard integrates a digital cockpit with two screens mounted in one panel and a heads-up display. Other details include touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel, a raised center console and separate climate controls for the rear passengers.
Nissan did not mention what powers the Pathfinder,only the concept is showcased at Auto Shanghai alongside the latest Qashqai. The smaller crossover is celebrating its Chinese premiere ahead of an August market launch.

The Pathfinder’s main competitors are the Kia Telluride, Honda Pilot, and Volkswagen Atlas.
The current generation of the Pathfinder was launched for the 2022 model, and since then, it has received a lot of praise. Many people love its enhanced design, comfortable ride, and the fact that it has one of the highest towing capacities in its class. The 2023 Pathfinder only had minor updates, including the addition of an off-road-ready Rock Creek trim and making wireless smartphone charging a standard feature for the mid-level SL trim. And given the recent redesign of the Pathfinder, we don’t really expect a lot of changes for the 2024 model year.
The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder has mostly been known for its spacious cabin, which is capable of accommodating up to eight people. This makes it even more suitable for families. And the first time you look at it, you can tell for sure that the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder can deliver a smooth ride that will be appreciated on both long and daily commutes.
The V6 will also get a power boost in the Rock Creek model to 295 horsepower. Even the interior of the Rock Creek is a bit different from the regular Pathfinder, coming with custom fabric and vinyl upholstery, orange stitching, and Rock Creek badges on the seats and center console.
In addition, the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder is also expected to come with a new trim inspired by the trail called Rock Creek. Some of the upgrades on this one include standard all-wheel drive, off-road-tuned suspension, and 0.6-inch less lift compared to other AWD-equipped Pathfinders.
When it comes to the standard model, the V6 provides plenty of power to motivate the Pathfinder, and the nine-speed automatic transmission is an improvement over the older CVT in terms of responsiveness.
The Nissan Pathfinder comes with a V6 that is capable of producing 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. It is only the Rock Creek model that comes with a different engine, which produces 295 horsepower. The 2024 Pathfinder Rock Creek also comes standard with front-wheel drive, but it is also available with all-wheel drive with a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission.
The interior of the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder is expected to have a more modern, truck-like design. This will be more modified, with comfortable front seats and well-placed controls. The three rows of seating are capable of accommodating up to eight riders. However, buyers can choose to go with the standard second-row bench seats for the captain’s seats. This is a feature desired in a family crossover. This reduces the capacity to seven people.
When you look at the dashboard, there is an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen that is standard on the base trim. It comes with the latest version of the NissanConnect software interface. The SL and Platinum models come with a larger 9.0-inch screen that is standard. All this comes with the standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with the former syncing wirelessly on the top trim.
Owners of the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder have the option of choosing the 12.3-inch digital meter display, onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless smartphone charging pad, SiriusXM satellite radio, head-up display, and in-dash navigation system. If you want to enjoy better music as you drive, you can also go for the 13-speaker Bose system.

What is Nissan Doing? 2024 GTR Review
The 2024 Nissan Sentra is enhanced for the new model year with refreshed modern exterior styling, improved fuel economy and more premium features on the popular SV grade. The 2024 Nissan Sentra range (S, SV and SR grades) goes on sale late summer.
The car's updated appearance includes a new front fascia and restyled headlights on all models, plus dynamic new 16- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs. Sentra SR models add a restyled rear fascia and new interior accent stitching color.
A new Xtronic CVT and the addition of Idle Stop Start, along with a smooth, responsive 2.0-liter inline-four engine, deliver improved fuel efficiency for the 2024 model.
More technology on the popular SV grade enhances the user experience. New for the 2024 model year, the SV Premium package adds Intelligent Around View Monitor, an 8-speaker Bose Premium Audio System and exterior mirrors with turn signal indicators. Sentra SR also adds heated front seats as standard.
While class-exclusive Intelligent Forward Collision Warning is equipped as standard, additional driver-assist technology includes Intelligent Driver Alertness, available Intelligent Around View Monitor, available Intelligent Cruise Control and standard Easy-Fill Tire Alert system.
Like all Nissan models, Sentra prioritizes safety for peace of mind. All grades have standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of six advanced driver-assist systems including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.

With photos and features of the 2024 #Kia #EV9 already being revealed earlier this month, we now have more details on the all-new full-size electric SUV from Korea. The #KiaEV9 is set to be the automaker’s first battery-electric three-row SUV, with near concept-car looks and a chiseled outer appearance. We now know exactly what to expect under the metal at launch, including range, power, and configuration options. With up to 338 miles (541 km) of WLTP range on offer for the EV9, Kia’s first-ever three-row battery-electric SUV is already close to hitting a home run. Its fully-juiced mileage numbers are just a smidge below that of the Tesla Model X’s EPA rating. Of course, that’s for the Long-Range RWD model, which includes the larger 99.8 kWh battery that also features on the all-wheel drive model.
Additionally, the Kia EV9 has been built using 800-volt architecture, meaning that if an ultra-fast charger can be found, it would only take 15 minutes of re-juicing to add 150 miles (239 km) of range.

More than a week ago Cadillac has announced the new all-electric ESCALADE IQ 2024. It will join other two Cadillac models the LYRIQ and CELESTIQ. Also the gasoline Escalade is expected to be updated next year, as its fifth generation has been produced since 2020 - it's time for the mid-cycle facelift.
So we have combined the Escalade IQ as EV model and the refreshed Escalade and illustrated the exterior with the new front bumper and lights. And new wheels. As for the interior, before we thought it could be taken from the Lyriq model. But according to spy-shots, it will be closer to CELESTIQ interior design with the super-wide screen.

If you were to glance at the new pure electric Honda e:Ny1 across a crowded carpark, you could be forgiven for thinking that it just looks like the familiar, petrol-powered Honda HR-V in a slightly futuristic hat.
But Honda would like you to think of the e:Ny1 as a stylish, dynamic little SUV that’s absolutely going to appeal to hip young things. Who don’t mind telling people that the drive a car with a name like a postcode.
Honda already has an electric car in the shape of the glorious Honda e, but that super-stylish electric city car costs a billion pounds and has the range of an unfit person’s bicycle (actually £36,920 and 137 miles, Ed)
The e:Ny1 is much more mainstream. It’s a five-seat electric SUV that’s not big and not small, with styling that’s neatly conservative and fine-but-not stand-out everything else. Honda themselves say its rivals are the best selling Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro EV, although the pricing is actually closer to another big seller – the Tesla Model Y. Electric vehicles are still niche vehicles in the grand scheme of the automotive industry, which pumps out millions upon millions of cars every year. But they're gaining steam in a hurry, with companies new and old trying to stake their claim in the era of electrification while skyrocketing gas prices are driving demand for all-electric vehicles even further.
Let's take a look at the promising electric SUVs which are yet to arrive in the US! And guess what some of these SUVs have starting prices as low as $30,000.
The 2024 Honda Prologue is an all-electric, 2-row midsize SUV and the automaker’s first electric SUV of any sort. It will compete with the growing group of electric SUVs priced between $40,000 and $50,000, and likely offer a max range of beyond 300 miles when it goes on sale in 2024.
Compared to that other midsize Honda SUV, the Prologue's wheelbase stretches 10.8 inches longer—to a super-long 121.8 inches—and overall its footprint is 2.9 inches longer and 0.3 inch narrower, while the roof sits a big-time 6.9-7.5 inches lower (front- and all-wheel-drive Passports are different heights). Honda is promising a "spacious interior," which the expanded wheelbase should afford. Ford has announced the launch of its new all-electric Explorer model, built specifically for the European market. It is the first Ford to use Volkswagen Group's MEB architecture and is the company's first volume all-electric passenger car built in Europe. With a starting price of under $48,300, the two-row mid-size crossover will have a slightly shorter length than the Volkswagen ID.4 with which it shares underpinnings. The Explorer EV features a rugged design with a portrait-style 15-inch Ford Sync Move center touchscreen, 5.0-inch floating digital instrument display, and haptic trackpad. Ford has not yet released full powertrain details but has indicated that the model will feature rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive battery-electric powertrains that will offer DC fast charging times from 10 percent to 80 percent as low as 25 minutes. The Explorer EV is also equipped with numerous ultrasonic sensors and cameras to enable driver assistance systems such as Automated Lane Changes, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, and Active Park Assist 2.0. The Explorer EV is one of nine all-electric vehicles Ford plans to introduce in Europe by 2024.
Orders open later this year in European markets for two trim levels – Explorer and Explorer Premium – with RWD and AWD powertrains.

It has been reported that Honda and Toyota have been behind the curve, mainly because their line-ups do not have any electrified vehicles. However, after months of teasing and hinting from Honda, we finally have a glimpse at the Prologue. The Prologue is Honda’s brand-new electric SUV that is co-developed with General Motors. And finally, it has received a batch of images.
The first Honda EV was the Honda EV Plus, which used nickel-metal hydride batteries. After that, the first hybrid vehicle to sell in America was the Honda InSight, and it was even before the Toyota Prius. The Prologue, which is the company’s first all-electric SUV, will soon be available. It is expected that sales of this new SUV will begin in North America sometime in 2024.
Following the lacklustre Clarity Electric, the Honda Prologue will be the company’s first significant move in getting into the EV world. However, even though it will not be the same size as the midsize SUVs, it is said that it will sit above the little CR-V and next to the Passport in the company’s SUV portfolio. After the release of its images, everyone is excited about this electric SUV, as we are yet to see how they did it.
The overall size and the long wheelbase with small overhangs are good indicators for the Prologue. Not only that, but also the narrow rear quarter windows and the low roof also validate the styling of the Chevy Blazer.
There is a unique "North Shore Pearl" colour that Honda claims is only offered on the Prologue. Honda says that this colour was inspired by the hues of California’s Lake Tahoe. You can definitely see that the electric SUV has an eye-catching front fascia and a panoramic top. Honda has made sure that it is spotless and well-balanced. Some people might even say it is modestly attractive.
With the Honda Prologue, you will no longer see the recognizable H-Mark you are used to. Honda has decided to revamp this and swap it for a more stylish font. Now, on the rear tailgate, the word "Honda" is written clearly in a readable and elegant font.
The images are the only thing we have seen so far concerning the Prologue. Also, Honda has not released any information regarding the car’s price or range. But the company wants to improve its current line of small SUVs, and they plan to do that with this SUV.
Given that the Honda Prologue EV was built on GM’s Ultium platform, it makes sense that it uses the same engine options as the Chevrolet. And if this is the case, then we already know what to expect from this SUV. We expect it to be the same as that of the Chevy Blazer EV. Therefore, since the Chevy Blazer EV has a range of about 247 to 320 miles and a maximum charging rate of up to 190 kW, we can also assume that the Honda Prologue EV will also be in the same range.
As much as there are some clues to the Prologue’s Chevrolet roots in the interior, Honda has done a great job of ensuring that the cabin has a design that looks recognizable as its own.
Instead of all that, the Honda’s layout somehow looks like that of the Civic compact sedan and Passport SUV, which have a clutter-free design that is rendered in muted tones. Honda has said that the Prologue will have a wheelbase that is about 8 inches longer than the CR-V.
The 2024 Prologue SUV is not Honda’s second attempt at an EV.

Right now, there is a tremendous and interesting battle in America at the top of the roster for the sales crown. And after the first six months of the year, the delivery tallies have indicated that General Motors bested Toyota for the halftime gold medal.
This might be why other automakers have been trying to do away with their mass-market plus luxury full-size models. The upcoming 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser and the 2024 Lexus GX make up a brand-new, stylish duet that Toyota has been working on recently. But what is Nissan doing to stay in the game?
So far, the only thing we know about the 2024 or 2025 Nissan Armada is some CGI looks that the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have come up with. This third-generation 2024 Nissan Armada is a full-size SUV that is the American counterpart of the iconic Patrol nameplate. Before the CGI looks were released, there were just rumors about it and what it would feature.
The Nissan Armada is one of the last body-on-frame SUVs left on the market. But by the looks of it, it seems we will see some updates for the coming year. There have been reports that the 2024 Armada will do away with the V8 engine and come with a new turbo V6 engine. But even as all these rumors go around, the officials have not said anything about them. There are also similar rumors about the internationally offered Patrol, which means that the chances of the 2024 Armada being upgraded are high. But even with the upgrade, we don’t expect to see a full redesign.
This means that it could either be a 3.5-liter V6 engine or a turbocharged version of the new 3.8-liter engine. And if it is the latter, it would probably be the same one that made its debut in the Frontier a few years ago. No matter the case, we can expect competitive power figures, which would definitely come with a combination that would make it even more fuel efficient. Therefore, we can expect the new engine to produce about 400 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.
Even though we said that a full redesign might not be possible, there are suggestions for this. However, the current model still has a few good years before Nissan gives it a complete overhaul. Generally, when you take a look at the 2021 refresh of the Armada, it came with some significant updates that were mainly focused on the styling. This is why we can assume that the Japanese automaker will do the same thing as it did with the Frontier. In short, we might see some new powertrains first, and then a few years down the line, we get a full redesign.
With all this, we can expect to see a familiar design from the 2024 Nissan Armada, which received completely new styling a few years ago. The SUV looks great, and it still offers a pretty engaging driving experience for the class as it combines comfort, handling, and off-road potential smoothly. Some of the styling updates we might see for next year’s model include new color options, unless Nissan decides to surprise us with anything more than that.
When it comes to passengers, there are three rows, which can accommodate a total of eight passengers. Furthermore, it comes with a couple of pretty spacious rows of seats, while the third row is also quite functional. However, the third row of some of Armada’s rivals, like the Chevy Tahoe, is more generous. Regarding the cargo area, the Armada comes with 16.5 cubic feet of room behind the third row. And when the third row is folded, it increases by 49.9 cubic feet, which gives it a total cargo space of 92.6 cubic feet.
We don’t know a lot about the 2024 Nissan Armada, so we can only wait for official reports from Nissan.

Hyundai Motor Company today revealed its radically transformed all-new Santa Fe. The fifth-generation midsize SUV carries forward its signature nature-meets-city appeal while implementing major updates shaped by big data around the latest outdoor lifestyle trends.
The all-new Santa Fe’s boxy shape and distinctive silhouette are derived from its long wheelbase and wide tailgate area.
The front of the vehicle creates a sense of grandeur with its high hood, H-shaped headlamps and bold, sharp fenders. The H-shaped headlamps harmonize with the H-motif lower front design to enhance visual completeness. The H-shaped design elements reinterpret Hyundai’s ‘H’ emblem.
Seen from the side, the lengthened wheelbase accommodates a bold roofline, powerful volume around the fenders, sharply defined wheel arches, shortened front overhang and 21-inch wheels, all of which gives this SUV a robust, adventurous look.

The 2024 Mitsubishi xForce will be sold across Southeast Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and African countries.
Under the bonnet lies a non-electrified naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 103 hp (77 kW / 105 PS) and 141 Nm (104 lb-ft) of torque, just like in the Mitsubishi Xpander. Power is exclusively transmitted to the front axle through a CVT gearbox.
The dashboard features a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster housed in the same panel.

Overview
The boxy 2024 Hyundai Kona looks more rugged than it is, as this subcompact soft-roader is made for the urban jungle—not muddy two-tracks. Like the previous generation, the new Kona will be powered by one of two gas-fed four-cylinder engines. A 147-hp 2.0-liter is standard, but a more powerful 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter is optional. An all-electric Kona is also offered, but we review that model separately. The more futuristic styling of the Kona extends to the interior, which is designed around two 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard. The 2024 Kona is more spacious than the last-generation model too, thanks in large part to a longer wheelbase and slimmer front seat backs that free up more space for rear-seat riders.
What's New for 2024?
The Kona is completely redesigned for the 2024 model year and features a more modern appearance. The cabin has been classed up too, with more tech and a fresh design.
Pricing and Which One to Buy
SE: $25,435

Since the SE and SEL models come with the base powertrain, we'd pay more to upgrade to the N Line since it is powered by the turbo four. In addition to the upgraded engine, the N Line also features all of the features included in the SEL's optional Convenience package, which includes a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a separate 12.3-inch digital gauge display, heated front seats, a wireless smartphone charging pad, on-board Wi-Fi, adaptive cruise control with a lane-centering feature, and more.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
Both four-cylinder engines from the previous-generation Kona carry over to the 2024 model. The entry-level offering will be a 147-hp 2.0-liter; a turbocharged 190-hp 1.6-liter engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional. In its last generation, a Kona we tested with the 2.0-liter engine recorded a fairly languid 9.2-second 60-mph time. The turbo was considerably perkier, hitting 60 mph in 7.3 seconds. We'll have to wait and see if the new Kona will offer better performance, but given its growth in size, we're not confident we'll see much improvement. When we get a chance to sample the new 2024 version, we'll update this story with driving impressions and test results.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
Neither Hyundai nor the EPA has released fuel-economy estimates for the 2024 Kona, but we expect to see similar figures as last year's model, which was rated as high as 30 mpg city and 35 mpg highway. When we have a chance, we'll take the Kona on our 75-mph highway fuel-economy route and update this story with its results. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
The 2024 Kona boasts a more spacious interior than the previous-generation model. That's thanks to a stretched wheelbase and a longer overall body length. Hyundai says it also adopts a slimmer front seat-back design that adds a little extra legroom for rear-seat passengers. The interior design is straightforward but futuristic, and the Kona features rich-looking ambient lighting, a column-mounted shifter, and available leather upholstery.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Dual 12.3-inch displays dominate the dashboard and are sandwiched behind one continuous piece of glass. The first of the two is a reconfigurable gauge display, while the second is a large touchscreen for the infotainment system. We expect to see an updated version of Hyundai's user interface here and are hoping to see wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the menu too.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
All Kona models come with a suite of driver-assistance features. Some of those—such as automated emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring—are fairly common, but the Kona can also be equipped with a driver-monitoring system and a self-parking feature.
