The updated model doesn’t bring any significant changes, but the MSRP for the Leaf S will start at $28,140, marking a $100 increase from the previous year, while the price for the Leaf SV Plus will rise by $150 to $36,190. The $1,095 destination charge remains the same. The 2024 Nissan Leaf is not expected to meet the requirements to be eligible for the federal tax credit of up to $7,500. Both the Leaf S and Leaf SV Plus come equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology suite. Meanwhile, the Leaf S utilizes a 40 kW battery for a range of 149 miles, while the Leaf SV Plus, equipped with a 60 kW battery, is estimated to have a 212-mile range. Nissan's Leaf sales are anticipated to remain steady as the company focuses on their Nissan Ariya model and future products.
