The 2024 Porsche Cayenne S that goes on sale this summer gets significant upgrades. It might take a Porsche purist to spot the new model right off the bat. Sure, the new refreshed E3 II model gets cosmetic tweaks, plus it’s a better value with more standard equipment. The big news is a new interior with technology inspired by Taycan and 911. An enhanced suspension offers a wider comfort to sport range. And the S model adds a couple cylinders with a twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet now. Tom Voelk travels to Los Angeles, CA to check out the significantly freshened Cayenne and gets a deep dive on the new tech from Porsche’s Calvin Kim.

Tom traveled to LA courtesy of Porsche, opinions remain his own. The vehicle tested is a German specification Cayenne. Not all features will be available in the US. Check out the very end to see a demo of the trailer hitch that we can’t get in the US market.
