2024 Tesla Model 3 (facelift) Here’s what we expect
Posting sales of 211,641 units in 2022, the Tesla Model 3 became the 13th most popular car in the U.S. and is still the best-selling electric sedan in the market! Although it received a refresh back in October 2020, it appears that Tesla Motors might be planning to update its well-liked entry-level offering once again. While the company has remained silent on the matter, reports of mildly-camouflaged test mules of the 2024 Model 3 are all over the internet, with an April 2023 spy shot even showing the undisguised front of an MY2024 Model 3.
The front of the facelifted Model 3 looks noticeably different than the pre-facelift car, while the minimalistic but modern interior of the electric sedan could carry a few updates of its own. It’s unclear if the brand’s fancy new yoke-style steering and rotating touch-infotainment system will make it to the 3, but Tesla will likely ditch the old-school ambient temperature sensor in favor of a new GPS-enabled module for temperature readings.
Tesla should offer the 2024 Model 3 with Standard Range, Long Range & Performance variants as before, with up to 375 miles of range (EPA-est.) expected from the Long Range Dual Motor variant. The facelifted electric sedan could start from about USD 45,000 in the U.S., and could reach dealers around Summer of this year.
