The 2024 Peugeot E-2008 GT is an all-electric variant of the popular Peugeot 2008 SUV, boasting a modern and elegant design. With an assertive stance, the E-2008 GT features a redesigned front end with Peugeot’s new emblem and an innovative three-pronged light signature at both the front and rear. The design team has worked on strengthening the SUV character of the vehicle, with the ALLURE and GT versions having a front end with a vertical pattern in the body color, and the GT version coming with a black bi-tone roof.

Under the hood, the E-2008 GT is powered by an electric motor that delivers 156 bhp, a 15% increase in maximum power from its predecessor. The battery capacity has also been upgraded from 50 kWh to 54 kWh, providing a significantly enhanced range of 406 km on a full charge, compared to the previous 345 km. The SUV offers two types of on-board chargers: a single-phase 7.4 kW charger and, optionally, a three-phase 11 kW charger. The estimated recharge times are 30 minutes from a 100 kW public charging point, 4 hours and 40 minutes from a 7.4 kW Wall Box, and 11 hours and 10 minutes from a reinforced 3.2 kW socket.

The interior of the E-2008 GT is adorned with refined materials, including an option for Alcantara upholstery. The vehicle features the Peugeot i-Cockpit, one of the brand's hallmark features, which has been modernized for an enhanced driving experience. The i-Cockpit includes a 10-inch digital instrument cluster situated above the steering wheel, offering an optimized view. The GT version offers a 3D display and customization of display color, hierarchy, and layout.

The central infotainment system features a 10-inch touchscreen that comes standard in all models and is compatible with the PEUGEOT i-Connect and PEUGEOT i-Connect Advanced infotainment systems. The GT versions have HD technology for the central screen. Underneath the central screen, piano keys allow quick access to key functions. The system offers full connectivity through wireless mirroring, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and an on-board navigation system powered by TomTom.

Safety and driving assistance have been given priority in the E-2008 GT. The vehicle offers a comprehensive range of driving aids, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Automatic Emergency Braking with Collision Warning, Active Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Grip Control with access to three driving modes: sand, mud, and snow.

The E-2008 GT is also equipped with high-definition parking assistance cameras at the front and rear. The high-definition front camera is available as an option and provides a 360-degree image of the car’s immediate surroundings, making parking more convenient and safe.

In terms of connectivity, the E-2008 GT offers several USB sockets, including three USB-C sockets (two at the front and one at the rear) and one USB-A socket at the rear. Additionally, it features a more powerful smartphone induction charger with 15W capacity, compared to the previous 5W, for rapid wireless charging.
