I can’t say the facelifted 2024 Range Rover Velar is an improvement

The new, facelifted 2024 Range Rover Velar is here.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine gets a new automatic transmission, it’s still an 8-speed but according to Land Rover, it shifts smoother than the outgoing eight-speed.

You can choose between the P250 model which produces 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque or the familiar turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six powertrain with 395 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque.

The 335hp version of the same powertrain in the pre-facelift model is canceled for 2024.
