New 2024 PEUGEOT 2008 - Hybrid Compact Crossover SUV Facelift

A bestseller on the B-segment SUV market for over three years, the PEUGEOT 2008 represents a new step forward in terms of design, technology and electrification.

The new PEUGEOT 2008 is produced at the Vigo factory in Spain. 3 versions ACTIVE, ALLURE, GT and up to 406 km at 115 kW/156 hp (WLTP - combined cycle). ). For 2024, the range will be expanded with the introduction of a new hybrid engine.

The new 2008 keeps the same dimensions: 4.30 m long, 1.987 m wide (including mirrors) and 1.55 m high. Luggage room capacity remains unchanged at 434 liters (under the parcel shelf).

PureTech 100: the 3-cylinder petrol engine with 1.2 litres of displacement and 100 bhp, equipped with a Stop & Start system, is combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
PureTech 130: the 130 bhp, 3-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine with a Stop & Start system can be combined with the EAT8 8-speed automatic gearbox or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
BlueHDi 130 EAT8: the 130 bhp, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine with Stop & Start system is combined with the EAT8 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Beginning in 2024, the new 2008 will receive a new 48V hybrid powertrain consisting of a new generation 136 hp PureTech petrol engine and a new electrified 6-speed dual clutch transmission with an electric motor.

Thanks to a battery that charges on the fly, this technology increases torque at low revs and reduces fuel consumption by up to 15%. In city traffic, the new 2008 with the HYBRID system can run in 100% zero-emission electric mode more than 50% of the time.

The E-2008 is a B-segment 100% electric SUV pioneer with a new engine inherited from the E-208 and E-308. Maximum power increases by 15% from 100kW/136hp to 115kW/156hp and battery capacity increases from 50kWh to 54kWh. Thanks to major efficiency efforts, the increased performance is complemented by increased range reaching up to 406 km instead of the previous 345 km (WLTP mixed cycle).

The new PEUGEOT E-2008 comes with 2 types of on-board chargers for every application and charging solution. A 7.4 kW single-phase charger is standard, and an 11 kW three-phase charger is an option.

Estimated charging time from 20% to 80% is 30 minutes at public charging station (100 kW), 4 hours 40 minutes at wall box (7.4 kW), 11 hours 10 minutes at boost socket (3.2 kW)

The new 2008 has a new front end with a new PEUGEOT emblem. It is wider and includes a specific lateral pattern linked to the headlights, enhancing the vehicle's verticality and powerful stance.

The front of the ACTIVE version is decorated in glossy black with a horizontal pattern. It extends to a subtle dark insert to enhance the look. The body color pattern also integrates the grille and bumper for a more robust look.

A modern selenium gray was chosen as the launch color and is also offered in the palette available. The new Okenite White, rich in blue-grey accents, underscores the quality of the new 2008. The GT version comes standard with a black two-tone roof. All new 2008 models have black mirrors, regardless of body color choice. The new 2008 is available in his six body colors: Seren Grey, Artense Grey, Okenite White, Black Perlanera, Elixir Red and Vertigo Blue.
